My passion for Orthodontics was first ignited in my childhood Orthodontist’s office and has continued to grow stronger ever since.  With a combination of my passion for the beauty of straight healthy teeth, my desire to provide healthcare, my fascination with the techniques involved in moving teeth and my near-obsessive attention on detail, made pursuing Orthodontics a natural choice.  I love transforming smiles and I am driven by helping people feel happy about smiling wider.

Education and Professional Training

At Concordia University in Montreal I completed my Bachelor of Science degree before pursuing my degree in Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.  I continued my professional training with a Pediatric-Dentistry focused General Practice Residency at the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital.  Then I headed south where I obtained a Master of Science degree from the Medical School at the University of Louisville in Kentucky with my research focused on craniofacial proportions using three-dimensional imaging (CBCT).

Next up, I headed back to Winnipeg to obtain my Orthodontic Specialty training.  In 2014, I passed the National Dental Specialty Examination from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and subsequently completed my second Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Manitoba.

I am a member of the Canadian Dental Association, a Specialist in Orthodontics in Alberta and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

The Vision I Strive to Provide

I remember the excitement of my orthodontic treatment and the effect the results had on the way I felt then and in all the years since.  I am driven by enhancing my patients lives through their Orthodontic journey and the results we provide.

Every patient who choses Chinook Ortho as their Orthodontist is important to me.  I believe in treating patients and their families like friends while delivering a high standard of professionalism and expertise.  I value building trust and comfort through honest discussions with patients and their families ensuring everyone is given the time to ask all the questions they have and feel excited to start their Orthodontic Journey.  I am committed to working closely with my patients to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient’s unique set of needs, starting treatment only at the right time in their growth and development.

My goal is to deliver the high quality results, within a warm and fun environment where patients feel at home and leave happy with that beautiful smile that makes them want to refer their friends and family to Chinook Ortho.

Behind the Scenes

When I’m not focusing on building beautiful smiles, I love being in the mountains.  I like snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing and mostly anything involving time with my family.
